Vanessa Venable currently serves as the Internal Communications Manager for the Gary Sinise Foundation. In this role, she develops and manages the Foundation's internal communication strategy, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all levels of the organization. Vanessa's expertise extends to providing support for veterans, first responders, and their families, as well as coordinating impactful initiatives like Specially Adapted Smart Homes (SASH), modified vehicles for the severely wounded, and community events for Families of Fallen heroes. Her work in fundraising and donor relations is instrumental in advancing the Foundation's mission.
In the summer of 2023, Vanessa earned her Executive Master of Public Service and Administration from the Bush School at Texas A&M University, specializing in Public Policy Management. Her academic achievements complement her professional experience, enhancing her ability to advocate effectively for veterans and military families. Vanessa has an extensive background in veterans affairs and higher education, and has been pivotal in establishing relationships and fundraising to provide financial support for student veterans at Auburn University. Her career has also included positions such as VA Compliance Officer at Auburn University's Veterans Resource Center and Veterans Affairs Coordinator at Southern Union State Community College. In these roles, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting veterans in their educational pursuits along with advocating for their needs.
